Lab practice

I have tried:
1. GNS3
2. web-iou
3. eve-ng

All three are free. web-iou is discontinued and replaced by eve.ng.

I’ve been recerifying for years and have never brought a dump. Just use the dumps to trigger targetted turbo learning.

There are too many wrong answers to do anything else. If you intend to just learn the provided answers then you have no hope at all.

Guys I am sorry to tell you that material is not valid anymore, I managed to pass today but got 80% to 90% new questions.
In addition to new questions there are also the old questions with very little changes, be careful.

New topics.

– a lot of ISIS.
– MPLS neighbors with ldp when router-id is forced.
– GET VPN
– One question regarding client-id in DHCP server.
– a lot of VPLS
– Which attributes must match in MST for two switches to be considered in the same region.
– One question regarding migration from PVST+ to MST.
– One question regarding mandatory fields in EEM script.
– Difference between EEM script and EEM applet.
– One (D&D) question regarding order of operations in uRPF
– Lots of questions regarding IGMP (one that I can recall is the difference between IGMPv2 and IGMPv3)
– One question regarding OSPF with VRF lite
– Two or three questions regarding how to configure NAT for Internet access and for port redirection.
– All the new questions posted by MAG in post 6966

New questions are not that difficult, they can be answered correctly with a little luck.

I did the exam today, but unfortunately the dump 228q is not valid anymore.

– MST and PVST+ load balancing between S1 (mst root), S2 (mst secondary root) and S3 (PVST+) for vlan 40 and 50.
– Statement related to client-identifier in DHCP Pool. answers related with hardware mac address, at the beginning with 01 number followed by mac address, etc.
– D&D for IS-IS
– D&D for EEM Script & EEM Applet (comparisson)
– mpls neighbor between R1, R2, R3. R2 with mpls router-id force command to interface to R1.
– D&D with ip protocol 9 IGP, protocol 17, multicast 224.0.0.10, etc.

Lots of posts are from the dump providers. Muhammad and SuperCCIE are correct.

I felt much of the dumped questions had been altered and so learning the provided answers even more useless.

Many new questions where you need to think and think hard about the answer, if you have no depth to your knowledge then save your money as it’s pointless to try this exam.

That said without the dumps even someone working in the education of CCIEs could easily fail. There are just too many silly questions to tackle this exam without any use of dumps.

If Cisco will continue to change so frequently the CCIE test questions and is asking more and more silly questions that nobody needs then I will change to Huawei technologies. Also the increased test price for CCIE is too much.
