After studying complete blue prints for one-year and attempting for written 4 times I was able to finally pass this great exam with score of 912.

Hi im reading the Official Cert Guide for CCIE, but there are some topics that are not specifically started in the blue print that the book covers, like CGMP, could this come up in the exam or is it just a background topic giving more “meat” to IGMP Snooping?
@Tebz007, The official cert guide tends to give you more and sometimes less than what is required. For example, the blueprint talks of “Describe IS-IS” but the book goes a step further to give you configs and troubleshoot. For the exam reading, stick to the blueprint so that you do not read more than necessary, but for learning, do not limit yourself.
Is anyone who has done the exam in a position to tell us the topics they encountered? The blueprint is very wide, someone might just want to spend a little more time on some topics….
